Blog 7: Hollywood Formula
Opening Scene : A ominous creature that you and I would classify as an alien had been aboard a dim-lit transport ship headed towards an intergalactic prison. This would for sure foreshadow an untimely death. The creature paid no mind to the banter of the other captives, who were talking in native tongues, engaging in verbal fights. Only because a real brawl was improbable due to the shackles and chains refraining much movement. All but one creature had been participating in this ruckus among the melting pot of criminal society, he was all covered up in black rags, hiding most of his face. All seemed to be under control by the guards standing watch by all possible exits. Until the 1st sequence began..
The Big Decision: Possibly the only downfall of the form he decided to take with his time here on earth was school. On his home planet he had recieved the equivillent of a full earth education, while still in his youth. Plus, the multitude of errors in the curriculum he recieved with his time at Shawbrook High School was an additional con. The day was done. He started off to the bus that would take him back to his new household. On the bus, his peers were all yelling, which has reminded him of a scene all too familiar to him. He was looking out the window as the mundayne routine of a bus ride continued, expecting nothing less than a typical spring day. Until the raid began, Gio now knew a fight was all he had left..
The Final Push: He landed a flawless strike to the chin of a guard, who wanted no more than take Gio to prison for his apparent crimes against his planet. "One down, several more to go" He quietly said to himself. Within the blink of an eye the guards increased in numbers, and began to form a enclosed ring around Gio, preventing escape. Out of the shadows of the cold winter night, a figure all too familiar approached the circle. "Gio, is it?" He said in a chuckle. "You'll regret this pointless chase, boy" Delivering a clean kick to the forehead, as if expecting a blackout. None came. he stood his own, and took the numerous strikes and blows from the surrounding guards. "Your a fool, we'll..." He couln't articulate the sentance, not knowing it was his last. The other guards watched as he was reduced to dust. An eerie glow lingered in Gio's eyes. A half a second later a bright flash ignited the town, fooling its residents into believing it was already morning..

Bla Gate
1. Villains have hearts too, make them have insightful dialouge as well
2. Dialouge tells a story you might not be able to do without it.
3. Make the character more of himself, not entirely based off of you.

6 words can be a mouthful
After looking across the vast 6 word memoirs the internet has to offer, I stumbled upon a few I liked. I chose not to go with the deep ones, that are too emotional, and eerie. Not me. I like the funny ones, that can still get you thinking, but can also get you to chuckle and think of it as a good laugh. That's generally how I approach life anyways, so why change it for an assignment? Not to go off on a tangent, never the less, here's my favorites.
1. "Despite disorders, jafroed jewboy gets girl"
2. "Didn't pull out. Downhill from there."
3. "I didn't do what wasn't fun"
4. "In my flow, living my dreams."
5. "Time loop! Idiot, we’re in a"

Settin' Goals
In this semester I plan to improve quite a bit in my style of writing. Because, the thing about literature or poetry is, it truely can never be perfect. Which means theres more than room for improvement. Well actually, its more of an apartment of improvement, if you will. Furthermore, I'd like to upgrade my volume in my work. Besides the basics of "number of pages" and "length of entries". I want to maintain my focus when I'm writing, and be able to flow with my creative spark and have the depth of creativity to follow. Secondly I'd like to also take Variety up a notch as well. I mean, not to be modest but I don't think I'm quite at the level where I can write about anything at anytime, Like Dr. Seuss could. But I can admit I have an admiration and an interest to creatively write, so I am determined to have a wider variety in topics and devises come the end of semester two. Hopefully after finishing both of goals listed above, what I've learned in this class will follow, along with this aspiration to continue writing.

Welcome To My Blog
Welcome to Corrado's Core. I'm Brad Corrado. Just another 16 year old kid with a blog. An average joe. My interests in writing is focused on poetry, or "raps" But I've also dabbled with short stories when I'm extremely bored.
